1. What is skeleton?

Answer : A skeleton is the hard structure that protects the internal organs of a living thing.

2. What is the importance of skeleton? 

Answer : The skeleton supports the skin, muscle and tissue, and all the organs that are inside the body. The skeleton protects important internal organs like the brain, heart and lungs.

3. Explain ball and socket joint with diagram.

Answer : in ball and socket joint, one of the bones has rounded head, which is the ball. This ball fits into a cup shaped and of other bone. The cup shaped part of the bone is known as socket.

4. What do you mean by voluntary muscles ?

Answer : the muscles  that are attached to the bones are known as skeletal muscles and as they are in our control. They are also known as voluntary muscles.
